Yule Dolls







This is a doll I made for Yule this year (2009) based on the Santa Lucia story. I call her the Bringer of Light.

And these are some Yule Goddesses I made for embellishing and hanging on your tree. They are based on a Cucuteni figurine from the 43rd - 42nd centuries BCE.





















This is my New Year's Doll, made on New Year's Day.
She is called Ode to Creativity.





Early Dolls

My cloth doll journey has certain been a spiral. I have started it, left it, and returned several times over. I started with Waldorf dolls and still love to make them. Some of the dolls below are recent; others are from much earlier. This first group was done around 2002.
